Resumen
Este artÃculo reflexiona en torno a la afirmación sobre el desinterés, distanciamiento y especialmente, conservadurismo polÃtico atribuido alas mujeres. Intenta demostrar que quien es realmente conservadora es la polÃtica, además de androcéntrica y masculinizante, lo cual obstaculiza el interés y la participación femenina. Se trata -como indica el titulo de este texto- de un pez que se muerde la cola: las mujeres no participan porque no se reconocen en la polÃtica y la polÃtica no reconoce a las mujeres. Por otro lado, las mujeres no sólo comparten la cultura polÃtica dominante, sino que desarrollan la suya propia como subcultura subalterna que son, al igual que configuran también su lógica de elección racional respecto a la polÃtica en función de su genero.
Abstract
This article reflects about the statement attibuting that women are politically uninterested, distant and, especially, conservatives. It tries to demonstrate that the one that really is conserative is the politic, which is also andocentric and masculinizant, and those are obstacles for the interest and participation of women. This is -as the name of the text implies- of a fish biting its tail: women do not participate because they do not recognize themselves in politics and the politic does not recognize women. On the other hand, women not only share the dominant political culture, but they develop their own as the subaltern culture they are, and in this same fashion they also configure therir logic of rational selection about the politic in function of their gender.
